About Magnolia Lane Quilting
Magnolia My name is Carrie. I have been sewing for many years, more so in costuming than other things until 2018 when I moved cross country. A dear friend introduced me to a local quilt group. I made a bunch of small table runners, wall hangings, and decorations, but I did not make large quilts because I did not know how to quilt them on my sewing machine. I then got a new sewing machine and with the help of the internet taught myself how to free motion quilt. With constant encouragement from my dear friend I jumped into the quilting world. The next step was really a big leap when I formed Magnolia Lane Quilting in July 2020 - right towards the beginning of the pandemic. I purchased a Bernina Q24 longarm quilting machine on 13 foot rails and began offering edge to edge quilting services. I am doing some custom free motion and ruler work, and when I feel more comfortable, I will begin to offer custom quilting to clients. Check out our digital patterns to choose from. It doesn't matter where you live. I can meet locally in Utah County (Utah) or consult over the phone wherever you are. I get discounted shipping rates to and from wherever you live to make it easier for you to finish the quilting.
